UP4S Foundation established, care of 25 children begins

• 2020 was a difficult year. Right at the beginning of the school year (in March) the world was hit by the corona pandemic. The national government of Uganda then closed all schools. This lasted throughout the calendar year. As a result, the children could not attend school and no school fees came in from Uganda.
• However, the fixed expenses (energy, rent, salaries, etc.) continued for the most part.
• Also the tour of the children's choir in the Netherlands, which had been fully planned and for which considerable costs had been made, unfortunately could not take place. As a result, the foundation lost a lot of income.
• At the end of the year a considerable debt was accumulated. Fortunately, we found a sponsor who took care of most of this debt.
• Due to the corona crisis, no construction activities took place in 2020.
